Kelley Freeman, 46, of Idabel passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Wadley Medical Center, Texarkana, Texas, and Tammy Freemen, 40, of Idabel passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006.
Kelley and Tammy McKeever were married October 23, 2002, at DeQueen, Arkansas. Kelley graduated from Durant High School and had lived in this community all of his adult life and Tammy had lived here all of her life. Kelley was in partnership with Freeman and McGovern Construction and Tammy was employed with Complete Care Medical. They were members of Trinity Baptist Church, Idabel, Kiamichi Independent Bikers and Athletics Booster Club. They both enjoyed motorcycling, watching their children play sports and spending time with family and friends. Kelley also enjoyed hunting and ranching and Tammy enjoyed reading.
Kelley was preceded in death by is grandparents, Young and Edna Freeman, Dan and Aline Watkins and William Jesse and Elizabeth Bloodworth. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, R.D. "Hoot" McKeever; grandparents, Evelyn and Jim Lessly, Roy McKeever and Doyce McCary.
They both leave to cherish their memory Kelley's father and stepmother, Ken and Dana Freeman, Idabel; mother and stepfather, Jo and Bill Tucker, Durant; step grandparents, Bill and Helen Tucker, Armstrong; Tammy's mother and stepfather, Donita and John Covington, Idabel and granmother, Vivian McKeever, Idabel; two daughte3rs, Cassie McKeever, Durant, and Layla Freeman, Idabel; one son Bronson Freeman, Idabel; one granddaughter, Jayla Brown, Idabel; Kelley's two brother, Dakota Tucker and Jonathan Tucker, both of Durant; two stepbrothers, Tyson Jones, Broken Bow, and Michael Tucker, Calera; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sharon Freeman, Tulsa, and Leslie Michelle and Mike McGover, Idabel; one stepsister, Tina Bounds, Temple Texas; Tammy's one sister and brother-in law, Misty and Scott Rowland, Idabel, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2006, at First Baptist Church, Idabel, with Brother Kent House, Brother Doug Clements, and Brother Doug McClure officiating. Interment was in Denison Cemetery.
