The association owes it’s very existence to the efforts put forth by Wayne and Gail Wylie, and C. J. Wood. I am sure there are others also deeply involved however I cannot name those folks.
This website is the brainchild of C. J. Wood who issued a plea in the summer of 2001 for someone to develop and maintain the site. Since I teach this stuff, and because, I suppose I have a propensity for self-abuse, I agreed to do the website.
The first effort was hastily thrown together and served the purpose for about two years. In 2004 I decided to redo the whole thing and make it more informative, more readable, and correct several “fat finger” errors.
Now, in 2008 the creative juices are flowing again and I am making yet another revision.
In no particular order, and certainly not all-inclusive, here are some folks who have contributed:
C. J. Wood who scanned many of the pictures, and did a superb job of cajoling.
Barbara Harcourt-Gary and her husband, Joe, who provided reunion photos and who have been a genuine joy to work with.
Bob Grafa and Dr. Ben Shaver my music critics.
Dorsey Jack Reirdon who has contributed pictures and other information.
Noel McBee who has regularly contributed to the site.
Dr. Joe Sneed, Dr. Jim Harmon, and Tom Harmon who contributed early pictures.
Mary Whitley-Whitt who gave permission to use the Class of ‘54 pictures from her website.
Joe White who regularly provides pictures and general information.
P. David Wiggs who regularly provides pictures and helpful advice.
